So, today I want to note one small free program that makes it impossible to create a batch file autorun.inf virus: Panda USB and AutoRun Vaccine
Pretty simple little utility. It has only two buttons “Vaccinate computer” – disable autorun from removable media described in the previous article, and “Vaccinate USB” – actually, there is a ban autorun.inf file on flash drive itself. However, it should clarify that in fact this file will be present in the root folder of the device, just delete or overwrite it will not be possible (only with formatting flash drives). That’s it. Now, viruses are not able to write their code in this file.
